Description
Power system for next-generation power grid remote control systems. It handles conversion from the power grid and renewable sources, has remote diagnostic and control features.
The module converts the input line into 3 separate outputs: main DC, charger and DCE modem. Output voltages are maintained in UPS mode via the 24V battery pack (not included).
The module is equipped with switch and fuses for IMS power section and substation peripheral power supply, battery fuses, 12VDCM modem output fuses, and battery thermal probe.
Battery efficiency can be measured by standard test and/or INDY test (optional). Test parameters: thresholds and scheduling are settable.
DC/DC modules in the system convert the input from photovoltaic panel or wind turbine. The conversion makes use of MPPT management. The input voltages and output of the DC/DC modules are galvanically isolated from each other.
System configuration and parameter reading is possible using dedicated registers that can be accessed through all communication ports. Cyber security firmware module and Anti-tamper system ensure the protection of the unit.
